Yeshua (Jesus) The Messiah says to His followers in the Gospel of John

John 7:16 יהושע (Yeshua) answered them and said, “My teaching is not Mine, but His who sent Me. 17 If anyone desires to do His desire, he shall know concerning the teaching, whether it is from Elohim, or whether I speak from Myself. 18 “He who speaks from himself is seeking his own esteem, but He who seeks the esteem of the One who sent Him is true, and no unrighteousness is in Him. 19 “Did not Mosheh give you the Torah? Yet not one of you does the Torah! Why do you seek to kill Me?”

John 3:34 “For He whom Elohim has sent speaks the Words of Elohim, for Elohim does not give the Spirit by measure. 35 “The Father loves the Son, and has given all into His hand. 36 He who believes in the Son possesses everlasting life, but he who does not obey the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of Elohim remains on him.

John 8:28 So יהושע (Yeshua) said to them, “When you lift up the Son of Aḏam, then you shall know that I am He, and that I do none at all of Myself, but as My Father taught Me, these words I speak.

John 8:40 “But now you seek to kill Me, a Man who has spoken to you the truth which I heard from Elohim. Aḇraham did not do this.

John 12:49 “Because I spoke not from Myself, but the Father who sent Me has given Me a command

John 14:24 “He who does not love Me does not guard My Words. And the Word which you hear is not Mine but of the Father Who sent Me.

John 17:8 “Because the Words which You gave to Me, I have given to them. And they have received them, and have truly known that I came forth from You, and they believed that You sent Me.

So we see in the scripture that the words, teaching and doctrine of Yeshua Messiah are not His words, but are the words and instruction from the Father Yahovah in heaven. We are to listen believe and obey the words of the Messiah who has been sent from the Father to call His people back to Him.

Deuteronomy 18:15 יהוה (Yahovah) your Elohim shall raise up for you a Prophet like me from your midst, from your brothers. Listen to Him, 16 according to all you asked of יהוה (Yahovah) your Elohim (God) in Ḥorĕḇ in the day of the assembly, saying, ‘Let me not hear again the voice of יהוה my Elohim, nor let me see this great fire any more, lest I die.’ 17 “And יהוה said to me, ‘What they have spoken is good. 18 I shall raise up for them a Prophet (See also Acts 3:22-26; Acts 7:37) like you out of the midst of their brothers. And I shall put My Words in His mouth, and He shall speak to them all that I command Him. 19 And it shall be, the man who does not listen to My Words which He speaks in My Name, I require it of him.

We are to listen to whom the Father sends to us to brings us good teaching and instruction for how we are to love the Father and be obedient to Him by doing as he ask of us, to listen and obey His words given to His Son Yeshua the Messiah who walked out the Fathers Torah (instruction on how to live), we are to follow Yeshua and do as he did.

Proverbs 4:1 Children, listen to the discipline of a father, And give attention to know understanding; 2 For I gave you good instruction: Do not forsake my Torah. 3 For I was my father’s son, Tender and the only one in the eyes of my mother, 4 Then he taught me and said to me, “Let your heart hold fast my words; Guard my commands, and live. 5 “Get wisdom! Get understanding! Do not forget, and do not turn away From the words of my mouth. 6 “Do not leave her, and let her guard you; Love her, and let her watch over you.

The Father sends His words that is His Torah, His instruction and He is clear that we are not to forget it, we must give attention and listen, for a Father does not give His children instruction that they cannot bare, He loves His children, we must come and know His understanding and His good instruction, we cannot forget His Torah and say it no longer applies to His people if we claim to be His people, they are His ways and what He has told us to do so we may have the blessings as promised and live a set apart life unto Him. His Torah is the instruction on how to obtain wisdom and understanding of who He is it is the very essence of Him and how we are to be set apart from this fallen world we live. It will guard our lives from this world and show us how to be the light that Yeshua was when He came, HIs word the Torah is a refuge and it's as He is watching over us if we walk in His ways while we are alive.

Proverbs 28:9 He who turns away his ear from hearing the Torah, Even his prayer is an abomination.

2 John 2:8 See to yourselves, that we do not lose what we worked for, but that we might receive a complete reward. 9 Everyone who is transgressing and not staying in the teaching (doctrine) of Messiah does not possess Elohim (God The Father). The one who stays in the teaching (doctrine) of Messiah possesses both the Father and the Son.
